Pop in a silicone scissor insert ring into the finger hole of your grooming scissor to make your scissor more comfortable to use. When scissoring, your thumb should just sit comfortably inside the finger hole and not be allowed to slip through.
 
A bad scissoring action will give you carpal tunnel syndrome, numbness and tingling, that runs from your fingers into your wrist. Avoid carpal tunnel by placing in a scissor insert ring.
